Founded in 1991 by Managing Director, Glenis Keenan, who had already achieved many years experience working in Social and Healthcare. A qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB), Social Worker (CSS) and a Mum of two children, Glenis has utilised her wealth of experience to develop and manage School House to its present level of ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ an accolade aimed for by every childcare and education setting in the UK..
Set in the pretty village of Dodford, near Bromsgrove amongst beautiful countryside, we are close to all major routes to Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Kidderminster. Our location also gives parents who commute easy access to the M5 & M42 and Birmingham City Centre.
Our aim is to provide a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere in which your child will receive a high standard of childcare and education to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow.
Catering for pre-school children aged 0-5 years. The Nursery also works closely with neighbouring Dodford First School and provides a popular Breakfast and After School Club along with a seasonal Holiday Club for children aged 5-8 years.
School House Private Day Nursery staff are all fully qualified and experienced. All the necessary requirements have been met in accordance with current legislation, statutes and guidelines and these include: Every Child Matters, The Early Years Foundation Stage and all Welfare Requirements.
